How it Works

Combustion Phase

1) Tobacco is combusted in bowl.

2) Smoke passes through the Stem and into the Base.

3) Smoke is injected into a high velocity Cyclone Filter where it is pre-mixed with water.

4) Smoke is then split up into hundreds of tiny bubbles which are further cooled and filtered by the water.

5) The Tube (chamber) fills up with smoke until the desired smoke volume is obtained.

Purging Phase

6) User presses down on the Stem bypass valve.

7) Air bypasses the Bowl and is allowed to flow into the Stem and Base.

8) Incoming fresh air lifts the smoke column from beneath until the chamber is cleared.

Micro-Percolation Technology

Diffusion Core

Our patented percolator technology creates hundreds of micro-bubbles that filter and humidify the smoke -- leaving you with an exceptionally smooth and cough-free hit.

The unique diffusion core was designed from the ground up to efficiently micronize and separate the bubbles using 49 diffusion nozzles.  

We didn't just shove a tube into a bath of water and call it a waterpipe -- we researched the mechanisms behind filtration, fabricated multiple prototypes, ran countless experiments and incrementally evolved the design into what you see today.  

Bubble Anatomy

In order for filtration via percolation to occur, tar and ash must cross the bubble's boundary layer (bubble perimeter).

This typically leaves the smoke in the center of the bubble largely unfiltered.

Why it Works

To improve the filtration, we must increase the surface area of the boundary layer.

This is accomplished by splitting up one large bubble into many smaller bubbles.

Doing so dramatically improves the mass-transfer rate between the smoke and water, resulting in unparalleled smoothness.

Anti-clogging Geometry

However, diffusing the smoke through smaller holes typically results in rapid clogging of the percolator.

Our patented diffusion nozzles were engineered to solve this very problem.

By reducing the height (H) of the diffusion nozzle, tar and ash are substantially less inclined to accumulate and plug up the assembly.

Self-Cooling Bowl

No more burned fingertips thanks to the unique heatsink design.

Small holes drilled around the perimeter quickly wick away residual heat via natural convection currents.

No-Pull Clearing

Instead of constantly pulling the bowl and gumming up the tapered joint -- simply PUSH down on the white Bypass Valve to clear the chamber.

Once released, it will spring back into the sealed position.

14mm Universal Joint Size

Industry standard 14mm joint size allows usage of almost any 14mm Glass-on-Glass accessory (glass bowl, ashcatcher, quartz banger, e-nail etc)

Made in the US

CNC machined in the USA using our own equipment.
